Rector Transition

Nativity’s Interim has been called

I am pleased to announce that the vestry has called Father Gary Nicolosi to be our interim rector.  Father Gary has touched many lives in the United States and Canada while serving as both parish rectors as well as interim rectors. His experience will be invaluable to Nativity as we move through the search process to find our permanent rector.

Father Gary retired to Arizona a year ago but he doesn’t know what retired means. Father Gary is a practicing lawyer and has been serving as an assistant priest at the Church of the Advent in Sun City. Father Gary’s energy is effusive and his dedication to sharing God’s love and seeing Nativity through this transition is undeniable.

Father Gary’s first day will be September 5, 2017. However, he will attend both services on Sept 3 to meet the congregation.

Please look out for the August newsletter for more information about Father Gary.

I am thrilled that we have found Father Gary and that he will be part of our growing and transitioning process.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Suzanne Cohen, Sr. Warden.
